Ah Young has been with the Ellison Institute for over 10 years and is a member of the Katz Laboratory. In her role as a Research Lab and Technical Specialist, she works on various proteomics, targeted and untargeted metabolomics with the Institute and its collaborators. Ah Young is also a Technical Lead of the Ellison Institute “Cell Line Team” where she helps with the expansion and documentation processes of different cell lines and our cryopreservation bank. Ah Young earned her BS in Chemistry at UCLA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three big dogs that eat more than most humans.
