Brian is the Clinical Research Data Specialist at the Ellison Institute, where he works closely with physicians, clinicians, and Principle Investigators to de-identify patient records, transcribe clinical metadata, transfer digitized pathology image data to a data repository, and maintain clinical trials database. Prior to this, Brian used to be part of a research team in developing data accessibility for Precision Medicine at City of Hope. He is passionate about the application of data science to drive innovation to healthcare. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor adventures, watching sports and performance arts, and reading a good book.
