Ivan Copelli

Ivan Copelli is a Production Specialist at the Ellison Institute of Technology. Ivan brings his expertise in the Film and TV industry to help showcase how the Institute faces its challenges to fight cancer. In his position, he operates cameras, edits video, manages the audio and video equipment, and provides support to hybrid meetings.

Ivan received his BS in Marketing and Advertisement from Mackenzie University in Brazil and his AA degrees in Cinema Production and Television Production from Los Angeles City College.

Prior to the Institute, Ivan worked as a cinematographer, director, and editor in many different productions, from music videos and independent productions to feature films. He is the award winner for the Best Music Video at the 6th Annual LACC Cinema & Television Awards – HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association).

Ivan has been married to his wife, Catarina, for 20 years. They are the pawrents of three cats, Tara, Monalisa and Olivia. Outside of work, Ivan enjoys playing drums, video games, or rollerblading at the beach.
