Ken Okajima

Ken Okajima is the Senior Manager of IT Production at the Ellison Institute of Technology. In his role, he harnesses evolving technological tools to improve and expedite effective communications and collaboration to support the research, clinical and organizational leadership teams in their quest to improve patient lives.

Prior to joining the Institute team, Ken built and sold an Audio Video Design and Integration company working on landmark projects like AEG’s JW Marriott Hotel and Conference Center and Ritz Carlton at LA Live, Waldorf Astoria in New York, Vinoy Renaissance in Florida and Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining establishments across the US. Live event productions include Science of the Marvel Cinematic Universe event to highlight the opening of Dr. Strange in LA, launch of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 at E3 featuring Snoop Dogg, Preferred Hotels Global Conferences and numerous other corporate events.

Ken has a BS in Business Administration from USC. He is grateful that Esther said “yes” to him 32 years ago, and for their three children, Deanna, Justine and William. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, technology, music, and culinary adventures.
