At the Ellison Institute, Roy is a Research Laboratory Specialist in the Mumenthaler Lab. Part of Roy’s work involves isolating, culturing, and characterizing cells from patient specimens for research use. Roy also studies the response of cancer cells to various treatments, including treatment interactions with the tumor microenvironment. He earned his BS in Bacteriology from UCLA. Outside of work, Roy enjoys disassembling and fixing things around his house.
